I do need to think about them more tbh because the extent of Himuro’s passion being able to make Atsushi go from quitting the game -> being so intent on beating Seirin that he gets into Zone is the the kind of trope i go a bit nuts over
So, I came across a tweet explaining about the sentinelverse the other day. I had read one or two Korean BL webtoons set in a universe like that, and they were pretty interesting. Basically, there are people who possess remarkable super powers/abilities (Sentinels) and people who have to help channel said people (Guides) so that their powers can stay in check.
It had also listed some terminology, and when I saw the word "zone", I instantly thought of KnB in the sentinelverse. ^^;; So, here are my ships's roles:
- Kagami, a Sentinal/Kuroko, his Guide
- Akashi, a Sentinel/Furihata, his Guide
- Midorima, a Sentinel/Takao, his Guide
- Murasakibara, a Sentinel/Himuro, his Guide
- Aomine, a Sentinel, but Kise would be a special case being both Sentinel and Guide (if that's even possible).
Also, I think it'd be great if Mayuzumi was also a good candidate to be Akaahi's Guide, but Furihata matched higher. It's shocking to everyone. 😆
And of course, the drama of Kuroko once being Aomine's Guide...

Summary: Himuro's busy prepping for the Halloween party he's hosting in his new place. But he can spare a moment for his giant Sleeping Beauty, of course.

"I've finished everything I wanted to, before Taiga arrives," Himuro announces without turning around. He doesn't need to; he feels those puppy eyes follow him as he moves throughout the kitchen, because they've followed him the whole day, as they usually do when Himuro's up and at 'em, prepping things for their day.
But he can't resist those eyes for long, especially since Murasakibara has behaved and stayed out of the kitchen, keeping to his designated snacks and only sampling the party's dishes upon request. And those eyes light up when Himuro turns to him.
