Marathon No.28 in the sachen. 3:56. Pretty happy with that considering my only training was the recent New Forest Marathon a month ago. Ran a sensible race and felt pretty good right up to the final 2 miles. Now it's time rest, recover and then get back in the gym to start building for next year's running goals! #MunichMarathon #runhappy #ranmyassoff (at Olympiastadion München)

Austin Fraser Germany runs Munich 10km for charity
Following the resounding success of the charity bike ride in the UK, our team in Munich, Germany are taking on a challenge of their very own to raise money in aid of HORIZONT e.V., a charity which supports homeless mothers and their children next Sunday 12th October.
Veronika Danner, Martina Ruhdorfer, Teresa López , Philip Shahabi, Susanne Eble and Silviana Mircea will be running the 10km route along some of the most beautiful sites in Munich. They'll be sponsored by their friends, families and business partners.
The picturesque route starts in the Olympiapark, before heading through the heart of Schwabing. From there, runners will head along Leopold- and Ludwigstraße before eventually reaching the Odeonsplatz. Â
The finishing line is in Munich's historic Olympiadstadion, where runners will complete a lap before finally finishing. It's certainly an impressive route.
