Happy Halloween and happy final day of Inktober! Tonight, for the prompt #mask, our campaign presents the dramatic conclusion of the Vul arc, the Grand Masquerade, an event held annually by the dragon Royal Family of Vul. The Saviors of the City, along with others, have been contracted by the Tenebrum Emporium to recover the tongue of the world dragon, Sevilibir—a powerful magical artifact—which is held under lock and key beneath the Eldraesh (an enormous tree of living crystal) deep within the imperial palace. Unfortunately contractors of the Emporium weren’t the only parties after the Tongue. During this dance with dragons, a mysterious seductress named Gressil, revealed to be a Bishop of Eth, assassinated the Emperor and sparked a violent coup in the Imperial City. In the midst of this bloody uprising, the SoC managed to pull off their frantic heist, only to find Gressil in a chamber deep under the palace, arming a weapon that would destroy the great city and the surrounding 500 miles. The SoC managed to defeat Gressil and secure the Tongue, but were powerless against the arming super-weapon. Desperate to save Vul, the party convinced two super-powerful beings, the Dark Lord Anna Cruces and Legendary Hero of the League of Seven, Scarlet the Red, to temporarily put aside their enmity to help the SoC destroy the Eldraesh in order to stop the weapon and, once again, save the city. . . . #inktober2017 #inktober #halloween #masquerade #mask #masqueradeball #ballroomblitz #heist #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #dnd5e #mnd #muncheonsndragons

For the 25th Day of Inktober our campaign presents a very special NPC: the pixie Tina of the Fae court. Pictured here reacting to Rubid’s vaguely threatening question: “how susceptible are you to fireballs?”, Tina crossed paths with the SoC as a slave in the household of a Vul nobleman. Desperate to free at least one slave after her unsuccessful attempt to find her lost family amongst the Thrallian slaves in Vul, CeCe purchases Tina with the goal of setting her free.
