Sometimes #motherhood and business don’t align. Sometimes you HAVE to choose one or the other. Sometimes you WANT to choose, and that’s also ok. I’ve built an award winning business and made over half a million dollars running one of the county’s largest online stores for ethical and sustainable fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. I’ve taught myself how to build a website, how to code, how to integrate, how to automate, how to digitise. I’ve pulled off the largest sustainable runway Australia had ever seen - and did it outside on a 38 degree day in Melbourne. I’ve hustled and strategised and creatively clawed my way up and through and around my industry with zero funding, zero investment, zero family money, and for 90% of it, with zero mentors or help. I’ve done a lot of really hard things. But today, on a #strategy call in full work mode, only twenty minutes in, I had to do the hardest thing - end a work call early. My daughter needed me. No one else was home to help. She wouldn’t be put down. She wouldn’t entertain herself. She wasn’t happy with her seven million toys. All she wanted was me. And I had to down tools and drop work and stop time to be with her. And for a split second I was angry. I was angry I had to choose - motherhood or work. And then I remembered, I’m working from home, with my daughter, scheduling my days how I want to, moving my time around like I want to, doing exactly what I want to - because I’ve built this life to have these choices. I have choices. I have time. I have the option to be a mother or be a CEO or be both at the same time. And it’s because I’ve done what I’ve done in business to get to this point - that I can say YES to my daughter and be here when she needs me. And that’s what I want to share with you, what I did and how I did it to get to this point in business where I have choices, I have freedom, and I have time to be with my daughter when she needs me. Let me help you. Inbox me and I’ll show you how to transform your business and buy you some freedom. #themoralmanual #mumssupportingmums #mumswhomake #mumsinbusiness #womeninbusiness #mumswhohustle #madeinaustralia #australianmade #businessmum #handmadeau (at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChrEvzxPDvU/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
