here's a compiliation of oc stuff i made over the past month or so ! from most (today) to least recent
i started with my barometz dungeon meshi oc in the bottom right, then hellcat on the bottom left (STILL wonder how i did it in one sitting), then i wanted to try to keep that style consistent with my two sonas on the top row ;;
still need to practice but i wanna learn how to render ! albeit- i need to get better so it doesn't look so splotchy
and i need to DRAW FULL BODIES DSFGSDFG instead of just floating busts...!!!

currently on summer vacation from uni, and rn my current hyperfixation is these three fantasy ocs: a knight, the “voice of god,” and the last dragon. they’re giving me brainrot and make me want to develop them through a dnd campaign for some reason?? anyone offering or-Â
anyway, i’ll put my little notes here so i don’t crowd my sketchbook:
voice of god -Â

was royalty who passed away hundreds of years ago - finally woke up when it realized its bloodline (name and link to power, physically and politically) is about to die outÂ
their "crown" is really a weight, to keep it in limbo on the mortal plane, to punish it with the inability to interact with the living - like a ghost seen by no oneÂ
the barbed wire woven into her hair reminiscent of its coffin, where she surrounded herself with barbed wire to ward off desecrators - the pain keeps him awake
there's an opening in his chest, where he can summon a blood sword, used to find those in his bloodline, and to spill the blood of those that aren’t her kinÂ
doesn't feel any painÂ
vampiric parasite that needs blood spilled in its honor to be kept in existence - powered by prayers only if the patron knows one of its many namesÂ
is able to possess people for a short amount of time, but primarily influence people through visions and audio hallucinationsÂ
it latches on to the knight it finds out working in the fieldsÂ
able to turn parts of their body from corporeal to physical for a short period of time - often takes the form of a stone bust or a piece of stone to be carried in the pocket of the knightÂ

a child born out of wedlock to a banished prince - he gave her a pendant to remind her of where she came from, but she wants nothing to do with the royal family because of how they treat the impoverished - often leaves the pendant in a drawer
they live as a farmer, tending to livestock, but would put on their dad’s armor every once in a while to build up strengthÂ
when she wears the pendant and a piece of armor, she hears a voice telling her to return to her rightful place on the throne
she wants to make a change for the people she grew up with (and also is getting bored of her animals), so she agrees to do as the voice says, and wears her father’s armor - like joan of arc
they cut their hair short and wear an armored mask and the pendant, concealing their identity as they try to infiltrate the kingdomÂ
their mission is to find the crown the voice wore when it was still living - only the knight’s blood can activate it/pick it up, so it’ll prove her legitimacyÂ
the last dragon -Â
it/they/she
they’re the last of their kind, after their parents died to an extinction campaign lead by the royalty of the neighboring kingdom - a centipede-dragon race that stays low to the ground
it lives on the outskirts of the kingdom - only aggressive when approached with hostilityÂ
they can’t breathe fire like her family members, but they have another magic ability - able to use smoke, mist and ash to conceal themselves
she would use her magic to steal from people, often artifacts that were taken from her people long agoÂ
has a connection with a deity on another plane of existence - they’re not able to pronounce the deity’s name but they can understand some of the words it’s saying - the deity gave them their magic, the last connection they have to their cultureÂ
she was told that the souls of her family and ancestors are in those stolen objects and that she can set them free if she gathers them all in one place
she’s able to summon the “Deity’s Hand” every once in a while if she’s in a pinch and needs a quick hand (haha) - the hand will appear in the smoke and either defend her or attack for her, but it only lasts for a few minutes, until the threat is dead or goneÂ
had its eyes sewn shut in order to hone its other senses - sound and touch

the vampire is the beauty, the human is the beast. the sun to the vampire’s moon (a recluse)
saliva on the tongue is meant to paralyze victims, so they don’t thrash or scream when kissed or bitten
the human wears a dog pelt
the pelt doesn’t have a top jaw, and the human has had a recent concussion. they don’t hide their face though, and the pelt has floppy ears
the vampire is to wear a banana leaf cape, to protect him from the sun, and so he can have a place to eat his food
“don’t worry, they’re copper coins. i’m not rich enough to afford silverware, remember? we always eat with our hands anyway.” - human
was almost bribed to give the vampire up
“i strayed from god, and met you. if this is my punishment for leaving, i’d rather die by your hand than to be struck down by an angry god.”
“you’re my god, and i’ll pray at your feet if you will me to.”
incited the vampire to eat the pests that are eating away at the land, terra-formers (human and monster)
the vampire gets a taste for the human
order of blood (vampire council) comes, tries to take away the fortune the vampire he’s sitting on (maybe he has amnesia? he forgot about the blood feudÂ
the vampire has “old knowledge” - knowledge that isn’t applicable to present time because it’s outdated.Â

“there used to be more carabao” - befriends the oldest carabao, who isnt so stubborn when he’s around
what if he was one of the spanish that originally colonized the pinas, but he was one of their sons, a higher ranked.
was an explorer, who got lost and was injured. taken care of by the human’s village, but the spanish thought the village kidnapped him and put spells on him, so they decimated the village and took him home, to remove the poison in his system. instead, they killed him
he’s been reanimated. his limbs are still stiff sometimes, unless he gets blood. if he tears off a chunk to eat, he’ll absorb the cells of the limb, and gain the strength/abilities of that body part. he has to make right by the last daughter of the magic line.
he woke up in a cave, cold skin. the human is warm-blooded

they’re tired of eating dead things and want to see what it’s like to nurture instead of bending towards their nature (of cannibalism, eating their own kind)
they HATE humans, and despise that they used to be one. refuse to remember what their past life was before they... died
ends up extending their own life by eating healthy food instead of rotting corpses 🤷‍♀️
“humanity will be the wheat that is reaped by my own hand” - heard this in a Van Gogh exhibit for some reason, it fits
