sorry this ask is from a few months ago, but, i THINK it was in relation to me asking for anti-romance media recs a la iwtv.

i just watched the show and really liked it! i saw there were books and i’m putting them on my reading list but it’s probably gonna be a while before i get to them.

i really love how the show subverts the “robot learns to love humans” trope. because that IS what the show is about- secunit/murderbot DOES learn to love humans but it’s not enough to make it stay with them. i also love how the human gang are genuine idiots with real human traits but these humans do mean well. also the main crew are more queer people of colour than not, and that’s a delightful change of pace for a show like this??? (the polyamory is kinda framed as a hippie thing but they’re forgiven for that since the throuple storyline is really funny)

YES HI I'M DYING, thank you Gene for sending me more Very Correct Opinions people. I saw a pic of them with Ksenia and I may actually become deceased while watching it, she is so fucking beautiful. I'm excited to see them all also be deceased because she's so beautiful. I've listened to their podcast reviews like 7 times now because it lets me re"watch" the show while at work. I usually skip ep 1 tho because I don't actually care about the hockey corrections 😂😂😂

Did you watch the What Chaos pod? They're not quite as into it as thr EN boys are, but they still loved it. It was also interesting to see what hockey stuff they both called out vs what only one or the other podcast did. Plus they had Jacob on and he's a treasure.
