Demolishor stood in front of Nightshroud's habsuite with a note in his servo, not doing anything much other than trying to make himself brave enough to actually knock on that door now in front of him.
And yet, no matter, how hard he attempted to, he simply didn't have the spark to go forward with it. With a defeated expression, he ex-vented and turned around to walk away.
"Maybe someday I'll actually be brave enough for this.." Demolishor muttered as he began to walk away.
As he walked, his processor started to fill up with all kinds of thoughts. Most significant one being along the lines of "who was he kidding, there was no way Nightshroud could actually like him in that way, all he was and would ever be a dumb and big brute that was simply loyal to Megatron with a greater amount of strength."
What he hadn't expected or accounted for, however, was him bumping right and straight into Nightshroud herself as he was returning right back to his quarters to swell in his own self-pity and cowardice.
"Nightshroud!" He yelled out, a little bit embarrassed at having been caught in such a distracted state by the femme. He hadn't noticed that the note had left his servo upon the impact.
Until it was already too late to do anything about it.
There had been a lot of thoughts running through Nightshroud's processor, and every single one of them had to do with Demolishor.
It wasn't that he'd done anything bad, but it was rather the worry that Nightshroud herself was going to screw things up. Yes they were friends, but there were many times where Nightshroud wondered if maybe... there was more to it than that. She'd never actually had a friend before, and as they spent time together she had to wonder.
Did she like Demolishor more than just a friend?
She certainly thought about him all the time to the point that she didn't even think about Clematis much. She enjoyed his company and such, but she could not place this feeling. Was it romantic... or was it all in her head?
There was no point in telling Demolishor until she knew for certain. Besides... what if he didn't like her the same way?
She gasped as someone bumped her from behind, ripping her from her thoughts as she narrowed her optics. "Watch where yo-!"
As she whipped around she realized it had only been Demolishor. She dropped her guard, calming down as she frowned. "Sorry. I... didn't realize it was you, Demolishor. Are you okay?"
She herself hadn't caught the note yet, leaving Demolishor a brief moment to recover.
