I have a question! I hope this doesn't come off as accusatory or angry in any way, I'm genuinely curious. Why do you ship Thorki? Thank you, have a great day!
Donāt worry, with my excessive Thorki spamming I expected a question like this sooner or later and yours is not angry or accusing at all.
Why do I ship Thorki, wellā¦
In my eyes they just have the most canon love for each other I have ever seen. Loki loves his brother more dearly than anyone else and the same goes for Thor, really. They would die for each other, despite their issues.
There are so many moments between them that melt my heart. When Loki looks at Thor without him noticing, the way you only look at the person you truly and deeply love, for example. It happens often enough for it to be unable to ignore it. And when Thor is disappointed or angry with him, every single time, you can see Lokiās heart shatter. When he denies him his trust or when he feels like heās losing him, Lokiās eyes tear up. Yes, Thor is angry and he has every right to be, but losing his love is the worst thing to happen to Loki. Lokiās refusal to admit that heās hurt and the way he tries to make himself look uncaring and cold is not because of his lack of love for Thor, itās the opposite. Thor is the only one he has left, the only one he still loves. Thor is Lokiās entire world.
I can go on and on, but I would only repeat myself, really. What Iām trying to say is that even though Loki keeps tricking Thor and they keep fighting and bickering, Loki still loves Thor and Thor still loves Loki. The reason they act like they act is simply because they still see each other as brothers and want to compete and I donāt think thatās ever going to change.
Not to mention the countless of utterly gay moments between them with Thor staring at Lokiās lips when he is supposed to look into his eyes or how jealous Loki becomes when he realizes that Jane changed his brotherās way of thinking. Loki sayingĀ āNow give us a kiss?ā before Thorās corronation? Please, that was not just another joke. Oh, and did you see Thorās reaction when the Grandmaster gave Loki this weird and totally lusting look in Ragnarok? Thor could have yelled āWhat the fuck, take your eyes off my brother, heās mine!ā and it wouldnāt have made a difference.
So, yeah. I ship Thorki because they love each other more than anything else in the world, thatās pretty much it. Plus, I love their bickering and fighting and constant ups and downs. Because no matter what, in the end they will protect each other and fight together.
