Summary:  As soon as Patience got into the car and buckled her seatbelt, she immediately wanted to get out. Go back inside. Forget university even existed. Call the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and tell them to rescind her acceptance, or delay it by a year. Something.

“She’s really going to miss you, y’know,” Alex said, getting in the driver’s seat.

“Maybe this is a mistake,” Patience said.

“You know it’s not. It just feels that way right now. Two weeks, two months from now… you’ll feel differently. I did.”

“And then you came back,” Patience said.

“There’s a reason for everything, right?” Alex asked. “I couldn’t leave her here alone, with Claire gone all of the time.” She watched Jody standing in the driveway through the rear view mirror. Then she looked at Patience. “You ready?”

“As I’ll ever be,” she said.

We hope you are as excited as we are!  After last year’s awesome round, we have made a few tweaks and edits to have the next round be even better!

The biggest change that we made, based on feedback, was to the “base” prompts on our cards.  Last year, each square was either a character or ship prompt.  This year, each card will begin with Genre and “Main” Characters as prompts.  Participants can elect to have other characters (male or female) and ships (het, slash, or femslash) on their cards if they wish.

This means it will be possible to fill all 25 squares of your card with a single rare ship if you choose!  (Remember, Wincest and Destiel are the only ships that are not allowed for this bingo.  You can, however have those duos included in a poly, such as Wincestiel - all poly ships are considered “rare” for our bingo.)

Summary: For centuries, Mages were the backbone of the Kingdom of Clan Shurley. Having a Mage in the family was considered an honor. But that was Before.  King Charles of the Clan Shurley suddenly outlawed all Magecraft. Mages disappeared into the Castle’s walls, never to be seen again - or they ran, as the King’s twin sons Lucifer and Nicholas did. Seven years later, the King is found dead in his bed.

The Mages in this fic are greatly inspired by Avatar: the last Airbender. If you’ve never heard of it, do yourself a favor and watch the series. (The animated one, not the horror that was the movie.)

On to the warnings: There is mention of prostitution in this fic, as well as mention of slavery. It’s not graphic and not a main part of the narrative, but consider yourselves warned if that’s a trigger for you.

There’s also a bloody death in Chapter Eleven, but it’s not a main character - and really, we’ve seen worse on the show.
