At Columbus Circle, people of many faiths and backgrounds gathered for Multifaith Mondays—not just to mourn, but to speak truth in public.
We honored Alex Pretti, whose life was taken during a federal operation, and whose story raises urgent questions about accountability, justice, and human dignity.
This vigil reminded us that democracy is more than voting. It is the right to witness. The right to question. The right to live without fear.
Through prayer, silence, and solidarity, we sent one message: State violence must never become “normal.”
