I once had a kind-of crush (now I recognize it as alterous attraction) on my male best friend (I’m AFAB) and thought I MIGHT have a crush on my female friend as well. (Also alterous.) Well when I got a crush on a non-binary person that decided it. Especially after seeing a specific description of pan online, where it wasn’t just “all genders” but “regardless of gender”, which at the time I hadn’t heard much. Now I feel sexual attraction towards girls but I’m still panromantic and I love my pan community!
