Weiss: “Jaune dear, can I have a moment?”

Jaune: “Sure. What’s up?” *walks over while feeding Mullein a bottle*

Weiss: *shows him a bidding site on her scroll* “Well?”

Jaune: “A gag gift from Caltha, but I threw them out.”

Weiss: “Looking at the pouch size, I imagine they were rather uncomfortable.”

Jaune: “I couldn’t tell you, I never tried them on. Seemed like something you’d wear for someone else.”

Weiss: “But would you wear them now? In the proper size, of course.”

Jaune: “I think we’ve established I’d do just about anything for any of you.” *holds up a finger* “But since you all have said I must speak up for my own wants and needs, a caveat.”

Weiss: “I do love a good negotiation.”

Jaune: “For every pair of sexy underwear I’m gifted, the giver must buy something sexy for me to see them in too.”

Weiss: *shakes his hand quickly with a smile somewhere between manic and lascivious* “DEAL! We shook on it and an Arc always keeps their word!” *runs away giggling*

Jaune: *looking down at the baby* “What have I gotten myself into?”

The Wedding Part 3

-4 days and counting-

Ruby: “Blake, sweetheart, when you’re done in the bathroom your family is here with their…”

Weiss: “The word you’re looking for is retinue.”

Ruby: “Thanks Weiss! Your family is here with their retinue, and they’re all armed! Some of the Menagerian weapons are SO COOL!”

Blake: “Armed? Even my parents?”

Weiss: “Yes, Kitten, even your parents. Yang is with them now.”

Blake: “Let me brush my teeth and I’ll be right down.”

{{In the middle garden}}

Yang: “So you all had a good trip?”

Kali: *hands resting on the hilts of a pair of matching daggers* “Yes sweetie it was a smooth voyage and we didn’t run into many problems once the ship made port.”

Ghira: “The papers from Beacon and Atlas Academies helped smooth ruffled feathers from so many armed faunus traveling through.”

Yang: “Somehow I don’t doubt it. Word is Glynda is way harsher now that she’s getting less sleep.”

Kali: “I haven’t bragged about how quickly Blake slept through the night…”

Ghira: “Much.”

Kali: *playfully slaps Ghira’s chest* “Hush you. But how about Lily and Mullein? Blake talks about those two more than anything else during her infrequent calls.”

Yang: *smiles as the rest of her team walks out, R and W carrying the two babes* “You’re about to see them for yourself.”

-All the faunus in the middle garden instinctively cover their ears before Kali sees the two babes, screaming happily as she runs over to hold them-

Yang: “Ow.”

Blake: *hands Mullein over to Kali and walks over* “So, dad, what’s with all the weapons?”

Ghira: *waves over a male in royal guard armor with an added bandanna* “Blake this is…” *the guard gives his chieftain a poignant look. Ghira sighs* “Jboy. Jboy, my daughter Blake.

Blake: *smiling because she knows how much her father despises using nicknames* “A pleasure, and my thanks for helping get my parents here safely.”

Jboy: “Just doing my job. Did you know Ilia is living in town?”

Blake: “No, but tell me more.”

The door opens and Blake steps through with Ren. Jboy and Ruby take up positions at the door.

Ren: *looking at petals appearing from an empty corner, he catches Blake’s eye and nods towards it* “She’s there.”

Ilia: *drops her Semblance* “How?”

Blake: “That’s not important right now. What is important is your answer to this question. Are you here for the White Fang? Are they going to attack my new home?”

Ilia: “I left the Fang a while ago. Adam was nuts and I realized I wanted more in life so I got a job. I’m just stationed here in Domremy for work, I swear.”

Blake: *looks around at the luxury Ilia is living in and whistles* “Must pay well.” *Ilia nods* “So… I’m sorry I ran away from the White Fang without you.”

Ilia: “I wasn’t in the right head space at that time to have gone with you…unless you confessed yourself to me first.” *laughs awkwardly *

Blake: “The Octuple is closed, Ilia.” *Ilia turns red*

Ruby: “That’s true, sorry.”

Ilia: *turns to the door and sees the two guards outside. Narrows her eyes at Jboy* “Oh it’s you. Your Semblance, Insight?” *Jboy nods* “Yeah, you made it hard to pull the wool over the Belladonna’s eyes.”

Jboy: “Don’t expect an apology.”

Blake: “Would you like an invite?”

Ilia: “Seriously! You’re marrying SEVEN humans, why would I want to come watch that?”

Jboy: “Two of the Arc girls are going to be there without dates, and they like girls.”

Blake: “Oh, Xanthe would LOVE you! I got pics, wanna see her? She’s hot and very pro-faunus.”

Ilia: “And she’s gay?”

Ruby: *Petal Burst in beside the two* “She’s bi, and Caltha is pan AND a fighter pilot for the Atlas military…oh wait you were White Fang…So Xanthe’s a doctor.”

{{In a armored transport heading to Domremy}}

-Neo, in her Mint disguise, and Roman, in a non-Semblance disguise, are sitting amongst some others heading there for wedding business-

Roman: “I hate traveling like this. I miss the airship.”

Neo: ‘Well you should seduce a pilot then.’

Roman: “Oh yeah? Maybe I will.”

Jaqueline watches as each of her children, baring Saphron who would call later, Caltha, who was on assignment and had taken her father out earlier, and Jaune who would be over for dinner with his family, give their father presents. Most of them were kitsch, although the twins begging for lessons from him instead of Pyrrha and Weiss had made him smile broadly.

{{The Corcoran House}}

Amethyst had made her father…something? Crimson was dumbfounded as to how it worked, but it DID work. Unfolded, it made a seat that balanced itself on whatever terrain it’s on. Folded it fit into one of the pouches he wore on his belt. Zinnica napped in his strong arms and that was obviously gift enough for him. Seeing him in profile with that happy little grin, she hoped the baby slept through the night. Crimson’s present for her husband, that she would be wearing, wasn’t meant to be seen by children.

Mullein and Lily were too young to know WHY there was a celebration, but they were enjoying themselves as their Dadas danced around the room with them and their Mamas took turns giving them a kiss, or taking a twirl, or making a funny face. No, the two youngest members of the family had no idea why there was a celebration, but they were worn out. After dinner at their grandparents they slept in their cribs at the Arc household and their parents continued celebrating.

Part 12

The Call to Arms sounds off on the Octuple’s scrolls and Jaune races past Nora, who is standing by the open front door holding a garden wagon by the handle. He’s in such a hurry to get ready he doesn’t see her politely raise her hand to get his attention.

Ruby has Petal Burst from the workshop to the front yard, Crescent Rose already having been with her there. Nora smiles and waves gently at her younger fiancee, who smiles back with a manic return wave. Yang walks past Nora who tries to get the blonde’s attention but when she fails she lowers her hand and shuts her mouth. Ruby just looks at Yang with narrowed eyes and points at the porch swing.

Jaune reappears trying to put his rust colored armor on with one hand while talking on his scroll with the other.

Jaune: “What do you mean, excuse me Nora…”

Nora: “Of course, Jaune.”

Jaune: “…you don’t know who sounded the alarm? Crimson and Ranger are on patrol with Pyrrha and Weiss… Dad is running up now… Did Ruby help fix his sword?” *shoots Ruby a glance to see her nodding with two thumbs up* “Yeah, she says it’s good… Okay, but mom, who DID sound the alarm if it wasn’t you or the Corcoran’s?”

Nora: “It was me.”

Jaune: “Oh, never mind, it was Nora… I don’t know why… I could ask her… How did you know she had the garden wagon with her…” *everyone present sees Jaune’s eyes open wider than they believed they could* “Nora? Did your water break?”

Nora: “Yes, dear.”

Yang: “THE BABY’S COMING!!!”

The kitchen door explodes into matchsticks as one Lie Ren runs through it at Aura enhanced speeds towards the bullhead.

Ren: “WOOHOO! I’LL GET THE SHIP, YOU GUYS GET NORA READY TO BOARD!”

Nora: *smiling serenely at the sight* “Lie seems quite excited, doesn’t he?”

Yang: “Nora? You okay, honey?”

Nora: “Oh yes, Yang, I am.”

Jaune: “You seem… … …calm?”

Nora: “I’ve already spoken with Doctor Solitaire. She will be meeting us at the hospital. Oh, Doctor Forrest will be there too, but she said that was mostly to keep you all calm.”

Ruby: “Are we sure she’s not a pod-person?”

The bullhead skims over the house before doing a 180 in mid flight and dropping just enough that the back loading ramp barely disturbs the grass

Ren: “LETS GO, LETS GO! MOVE IT, MOVE IT! JAUNE AND ISHMAEL, Y’ALL MAY WANT TO TAKE THE TRUCK! IF ANYONE GETS AIRSICK ON NORA IM THROWING THEM OUT OF MY SHIP! RUBY! GET YOUR ADORABLE ASS UP HERE AND GET IN MY COPILOT CHAIR. ITS TIME TO GO!”

Ruby: *looking back and Mr. Arc and Jaune as Yang drags her up the ramp behind Nora* “Help me.”

Jaune and Ishmael: *share a look and quickly step off ramp*

Ruby: “COWARDS!” *ramp closes and the ship takes off towards Domremy*

Ishmael: “Jaune, you pull the truck around and I’ll gather up everyone who wants to go into town.”

Jaune: “It will be everyone.”

Ishmael: “Yep. Tight squeeze but we’ll make it work.”

—Later that afternoon—

Horses being ridden on the streets of Domremy wasn’t anything new. Most of the populace was aware of the jackalope living with the Arcs, especially after the winter holidays. However a Huntsman riding a horse at a full gallop alongside the jackalope, whose riders white hair was blowing behind her like something out of a children’s cartoon, definitely caught some attention. So much so that when THE Pyrrha Nikos and some other Huntress sped by on motorcycles shortly afterwards no one paid that much attention.

When the last two arrived Pyrrha parked (illegally) and tossed her keys to Crimson. Ranger was busy trying to rub down the horse and see to Juniper since Weiss had abandoned him the same way Pyrrha had just done.

When Weiss and Pyrrha made it into the waiting room only the twins, Amber and Aurelia Arc were there.

Amber: “The baby has been born…”

Aurelia: “…and everyone else is either in the room with Nora, or…”

Amber and Aurelia Arc: “…at the prison with Dad and Jaune.”

Weiss: “Why is your father and Jaune in prison!?”

Amber and Aurelia: “Oh, they’re not…”

Amber: “Ren is in prison…”

Aurelia: “…for reckless driving…”

Amber: “…disorderly conduct…”

Aurelia and Amber: “…and public indecency.”

Pyrrha: “REN did something indecent!?”

Weiss: “What in the…was he like this when Lily was born?”

Pyrrha: “I don’t know. I was unconscious from blood loss, remember?”

Ruby: *coming up behind them* “Ready to meet our new daughter?”

Pyrrha: *gasps* “Another little girl?”

Weiss: *gives Ruby a peck on the lips* “Lead on Ruby.”

After a short walk they see a rather large room with almost every female living in the three houses in it. Everyone waves as they walk by.

Blake: *handing Lily to Pyrrha* “Thought we’d wait and let you introduce Lily to her little sister.”

Pyrrha: *gives Blake a quick kiss* “Thank you, but I wouldn’t have minded.”

They continue their walk to Nora’s recovery room. The new mother is sitting up in bed and Jaqueline is holding a swaddled baby up to her. Both are looking down with giant smiles.

Nora: *without looking up* “Hi you three. Want to meet the baby?”

Weiss: “Schetzi, all the military forces of Atlas couldn’t stop us.”

Pyrrha: “Have you picked a name yet?”

Nora: *whispers* “I have but I’m being naughty.”

Jaqueline: “She’s refusing to tell anyone until the boys get back.”

Nora: “Ren was…excitable today. He deserves to hear it aloud with the rest of her parents. Jaune too, since he went with dad to get Ren out of jail.”

Ren: “Well then, should I go get the rest of us?” *everyone in the room except Nora jumps as his sudden appearance startles them*

Jaune: *typing on his scroll* “On it.”

Jaqueline: “I’ll go see Ish and my other kids. That will make some room for everyone.”

When Ruby, Yang, and Blake join them in the room Nora uncovers the baby’s face.

Nora: “Everyone, this is Mullein Valkyrie.”

Ren: “Nora?” *lays his head in the crook of her neck, weeping loudly*

Nora: *looks at the rest of her fiancées* “Ren mentioned he wasn’t comfortable naming our kid after his parents. So I named her after his mom’s favorite flower. Also it goes with Lily!” *looks at Blake and Yang excitedly* “You two should DEFINITELY research flower names!”

Ren: *sits up, his face back to its usual impassive expression* “Just because Pyrrha and you named your children after flowers doesn’t mean that they have to.”

Nora: “I’m not FORCING them to. Boy I’m starved. Do they have pancakes in the cafeteria?”

Pyrrha: “Did you make this for Mullein?”

Nora: “Yeah. I had plenty of time being benched with aura blockers.”

Ren: *holds up Mullein in her waffle onesie* “Your sewing skills have improved since you made Lily’s pancake outfit.”

Jaune: “They have. Is that why you made Lily this?” *holds up Lily in a new pancake onesie*

Nora: “I couldn’t help myself. Don’t they both look adorable?”

Pyrrha: *clicks a pic of the two with her scroll* “What do you think? Should I add this picture to the Waffle Baby thread and try and double the views?”

Jaune: “I think that would be okay, Ren?”

Ren: “I’m sure it will be fine. Someone out there seems to have our best interest at heart.”

***Somewhere in Remnant***

Neo: *sighs to herself while looking at the picture of Lily and Mullein. Then looks around at the men around her* ‘Perry? No, I’m fairly sure he’s completely gay. Junior? No, just no. Are any of the goons that strike my fancy? Not really. Hmmm.’ *starts flipping through messages and videos. Laughs to herself after listening to Coco and Yang’s recent conversation. Types on some keys and finds Coco, Velvet, and Cardin…
