Thinking about having a older oc pepper be part non fandom with established lore, but also have a separate part for deadlock where said lore gets tweaked to fit the narrative, but I'm not sure
Got a wee little idea though
She's a older oc who's a skating waitress with yellow eyes, fangs and claws who does not know what she became I have since pizza tower came out, experimented and ultimately felt like she didn't fit there at the end
(Also 5'3 or 5'4 with skates I messed it up years ago)
So now she's been dusting for a while and I'm so unsure and nervous about recycling her
The idea was though: a waitress participating with hopes to safe the restaurant she's working in which had to file for bankruptcy, what she can't openly say is that other things may be the cause of it or just isn't aware. Haunted by something before she decided to join for the ritual, as if something tries to stray her away from her goal, force her onto a specific path, waiting to hurt with the harsh truth of things she cannot remember anymore just to have her in a state of being more impressionable, easy to turn her opinions around, have her remain anxious to comply.
She can't remember things like how she came to nyc, why she was laying in a alleyway in nothing but a hospital garb that's tattered and dirty before being found by a bystander that wanted to notify authorities due to the suspicions a crime may have occurred until she begged to just call a ambulance.
Integrated herself quite well into society once she was back on her feet, took up a restaurant job after a long while of searching to pay off debt. It took time to understand few things and feels grateful to get a home within the building the restaurant resides in just like a few other coworkers of hers who's had it rough aswell.
She tends to feel stressed she won't be doing her best and feeling absolutely crushed if she were to fail, but hates to show it. When by herself Dialogue makes it clear she's anxious of failure, afraid to let others down, puts others before herself, ready to self loathe and take the blame if losing or if mistakes happened. Possibly crying once in a while to let pressure out when getting something from the shop as some form of break as she can't release negative feelings another way and tells the shopkeeper that work's just been rough lately.
I haven't established who she'd be fond of and who not except like
Lash she doesn't know how to feel about, something about his demeanour has her go "eh.."
Drifter she'd be scared of, almost has been victimised on her way around the city at night. Even within the fight for the ritual she gets uncomfortable when catching him drool near her or others. Scraping her knee made it worse as she's gotten lunged at uncontrollably, but before he was close to bite into the neck she got pulled away through a portal. Even if allied she won't step near him willingly. Made the mistake to offer pricking her own finger to let some blood mix with wine in a glass during happy hour out of view from family and coworkers in exchange to be left alone for some time, you bet he asks for it again after a long while. She was under too much pressure and gave into the demands.
She realised when he actually showed up during happy hour
All grinny looking down at her
Had her turn around and cross herself when realising the mistake she's done with this😭
Off to the alleyway with a glass, needle and a bottle of wine, because he definitely wouldn't be let in normally
Having full trust and feeling unease that she hopefully won't get slaughtered out of view
She probably had to explain why a bottle went missing though
Because instead of just one glass she got twisted into letting quite a bit run just straight into the bottle instead
Basically held at fangpoint
Which comes to the next person, Doorman. She finds him creepy and off-putting despite being suspiciously kind outside of the ult(he'd cause a existential crisis). If in the enemy team she will try to avoid him as much as drifter, but when allied she's just, feeling weird over this kindness shown to everyone, something feels very wrong to her, especially when asked to just take a break at the baroness and "relax", to get away from the restaurant stress, to maybe change jobs if all fails. With the pressuring and pestering nature she just feels uncomfortable sometimes. He and lady Geist also tsked at the use of worn down silverware as ammunition. She also was disoriented when pulled through a portal to safety, she just didn't understand why as they didn't know eachother at all, yet remained thankful as bad manners are generally something she doesn't want to show, girl was taught well at home.
Abrams was just a occasional customer coming for brunch and happy hour whenever possible, but had to be told during battle that they unfortunately can't offer brunch anymore which saddened the both of them honestly, but due to familiarity she may seek him out first when things get too rough on the battlefield.
I changed the post again and had ideas that she's been abducted as a kid, raised by a sick scientist who treated her more like a labrat, but gaslit her into thinking he loves her like a father would. Or maybe it's a scientist couple
The idea was she escaped containment at a certain point at 19, fighting, biting and scratching her way through. Possibly scratching someone's eye out in self defense or at least damaging it. She'd supress these memories for her own good and just wanted to start anew, live normally.
She also has venipuncture marks/scarring from prolonged iv usage and injections and her pulling some out as a kid. She doesn't like to roll up her sleeves nor be without gloves in presence of others. Feels insecure about it
Is hard to write a character that will be her own thing, but also has a deadlock counterpart
