A message from Spirit this new moon in Cancer . . .

The Eight of Air (Licorice) prompts us to be kind to ourselves as we face our boundaries; and we need those limits. The Achiever knows we are centered on creating stability in our lives, and this is necessary for reaching goals. It is a good time to prioritize to-do lists for putting goals into motion.  The Seven of Wands reminds us to have courage in facing challenges, and confidence in standing up for our beliefs.

Blue candles will assist with patience, understanding, and harmony; silver candles light the way for openness and positivity. Frankincense in any form helps with balancing and awareness.

Labradorite is a beautiful mineral ally to illuminate our paths to become the people we are destined to be. Carnelian supports decision making to help us transform into who we want to be. Smoky quartz, known as the “stone of endurance,” keeps us grounded and balanced.

Really it depends on what you like personally.

For learning, the best ones are probably the Robin Wood deck, or just a straight up Rider Waite deck. Not only is the imagery great and meaningful, but the pictures match up with most books which makes things easier.

My favorites just in general are

The Happy Tarot: It’s adorable and all the cards make me feel good. While it’s not one I’d use for a professional reading, I adore it.

Sun and Moon Tarot: This is my sassy deck. It’s got a lot of different imagery and stuff from different mythology and astrological systems.

Epic Tarot: This is a beautiful and masculine deck. Like, I just wanna tape the cards to my body and go for a run.

Crystal Visions Tarot: It’s gorgeous. It’s purple and all painterly and I love it, I actually had to get another one when I messed up the first one. Whoops.

So, two that I don’t own but have heard great things about are The Wild Unknown and Mucha Tarot.
