And here it is, the big thing I talked about in my last post. I wanted to manage to get all of the wall cards from the original Alpha set into one, single post, especially since the lore I wrote up for them all ties in together. I... am not going to copy-paste that lore here like normal, because that would be ridiculously long and even more effort. But its up there for you to read. There are some interesting ideas on what to do with these things scattered throughout the post, so hopefully you decide to use them for something fun. Sorry this took an extra day by the way, I decided to hold off one more day and have this post and two other, normal posts as well. So expect those in a few hours.
A nice rogue-style NPC for use in a campaign. Note that this NPC is definitely meant for hit-and-run tactics, or for sneaking up and attacking creatures after they’ve already spent their turn attempting to do something else before dodging away discreetly to live another day.
Another creature I was excited to get to, and really a sort of companion for the Sengir vampire. A creature that players of the game have been in love with since the game was first created. But really, who could resist? Let’s face it, we all love the Serra angel, whether we every play White or not. I tried to make the lore of the Serra angel sort of mirror that of Sengir vampire, since each of them are CR 8 creatures on opposite sides of the spectrum.
Mana Vault (Wondrous item, Legendary)
A cube of intricate metal, with a hinged door on one side. Even coming close to this object is enough to realize that the cube hums with immense power. A small glass orb on the door of the cube allows one to look inside, where the bright-blue glow of energy can be seen. Once per long rest, the door to the cube may be opened as a bonus action. When the door is opened, energy rushes outwards, filling every inch of your body. After this turn ends, you take an additional three turns in a row. After those turns have been taken, the door to the cube remains open, and the power flowing into you becomes dangerous and painful. At the end of each of your turns, you suffer one level of exhaustion, and take 2d8 radiant damage. This damage is not subject to damage resistance or immunity. You must spend four consecutive rounds taking no actions, bonus actions, or reactions to end the effect on yourself, though you may still move up to your speed. During these rounds, you do not suffer a level of exhaustion at the end of your turn.

Wanted to keep the idea of increasing power and toughness for having more of each rat, but also wanted to include something that alluded to the undead nature of the rat depicted in the art. Hit upon a pretty great idea if I do say so myself.
