Can we talk about Mason Jennings?
I know he is not likeable for most people because of the way he is. But I think we are forgetting that he, is after all, a teen boy.
We talk about the hardships and trauma that Noah faced and he deserves to be protected at all costs. But, this guy Mason, a teen, got into a relationship with a girl, only to realise he has feelings for someone else.
She was his best friend and he was the closest to her. I mean, he went through so much with her. He was even when MC was a little child. They spent so much time together with each other that they were practically a family.
Not only the fun parts but Mason was there for her even when MC was suffering when she lost her mother.
He was ready to take MC to the beach to get the best shot even when it was a major risk from his side.
I felt so bad when I had to talk to Mason after choosing Noah for the prom. Never in his wildest dreams did Mason think he’ll lose her to a new guy(from his perspective)
If I had a person who I was the closest with for my entire life and started to have feelings for them or not, I’ll always feel a little jealous when someone else gets close to them. Periodt.
