Fulton Street Train Station ( #2 Train )

Fulton Street is a New York City Subway station complex in Lower Manhattan. It consists of four linked stations on the IND Eighth Avenue Line, the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, the BMT Nassau Street Line and the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line. The last three cross Fulton Street at Broadway, Nassau Street, and William Streetrespectively. This station is really big and is one of my favorites underground station in NYC.

There are free transfer to the 2,3,4,5, A,C,E Trains.

To capture this station this empty is a miracle because of it being a big station where people are always on the go. Covid 19 pandemic made this possible and besides all the bad mental health Covid19 has brought to us all I got the chance to shoot this beautiful station empty as shown in the pictures above.

This station is 72 years old and is located downtown Manhattan. 

The Fulton Center is a renovation project that improves access throughout the station complex, introduces a new station building, and provides easier access to the World Trade Center site.

14 Street Train Station ( #2 Train )

14th Street/Sixth Avenue is an underground New York City Subway station complex in the Chelsea district of Manhattan on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line, the BMT Canarsie Line and the IND Sixth Avenue Line. It is located on 14th Street between Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) and Seventh Avenue. It is served by the:

1, 2, F, and L trains at all times

3 train at all times except late nights

M train during weekdays

There is a local track on one end of the train station platform and the other side is express. Free transfer if you are going from uptown 1,2, or 3 trains and want to go downtown because you passed your stop. This station is 102 years old.

The station has an exit-only area at the center. Two staircases from each platform go up to a crossover where on either side, a single exit-only turnstile and emergency gate leads to a staircase that goes up to either northern corners of 13th Street and Seventh Avenue. 

Franklin St Train Station ( #1 Train )

This station you can not transfer to the other side to go from uptown to downtown because there is no under or over pass to connect. You have to exit and pay again sadly.

Franklin Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Franklin Street, Varick Street, and West Broadway. It is served by the 1 train at all times and by the 2 train during late nights.

I like the floor on this station the most.

Van Cortlandt Park–242nd Street Train Station ( #1 Train )

This is the last stop on the #1 train going uptown to the Bronx

Van Cortlandt Park–242nd Street is the northern terminal station on Seventh Avenue Line of the New York subway. Located at the intersection of 242nd Street and Broadway (US Route 9) in the Bronx, it is served by the 1 train at all times. It is adjacent to Van Cortlandt Park to the east, Manhattan College, and the 240th Street Yard of the subway system.

Chambers Street Train Station ( #1 Train )

This station has 4 tracks, 2 on uptown train platform and 2 on the downtown trains. You can catch the 1,2,3 Trains from this station. Transfers are free if you are going from uptown to downtown just in case you got on the wrong train and need to go in opposite direction.

One platform has 1,2,3 trains going uptown and other has 1,2,3 trains going downtown, The #2 & #3 trains run on the same track and the other track from the same platform will be the #1 train. The #1 train is a local train running on the local tracks while the # 2 and #3 runs on the express track.

The #1 train stops here all the time as well as the #2 & #3.

The station's only exits are through the mezzanine above the center of the station. Street stairs lead to four of the five corners of the intersection of Chambers Street, Hudson Streets, and West Broadway.

28th Street Train Station ( #1 Train )

28th Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 28th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train at all times and by the 2 train during late nights.

This station you can not transfer to the other side to go from uptown to downtown because there is no under or over pass to connect for free transfer. You have to exit and pay again sadly.

There is a booth with someone on the uptown side of this station in case you need help with metro card fare or directions to another train. Many other stations might not have a booth and that can be annoying if the MTA machines are not working properly.
