They have apparently tried to change it multiple times but brave American politicians keep fighting that in the name of they keep finding one Black person who says they can keep it.

...If it's named after a Black man who died valiantly fighting there (who was certainly an enslaved person, and the battle was white people trying to steal the land from the local Native tribe in the first place), why isn't it named after that guy? Like, they know his name. Or, there are multiple possibilities of what name the white person who legally owned him gave him. Use one of those. This isn't defensible even according to the low standards of Maryland racists and their Black friends.
