after checking out some of the bigger events and checking out most of the food booths, taejun is finally considering taking a break. heโs contemplating a stop by the zoo since the crowd will probably be spread out there. just a calmer atmosphere in general compared to the cheerful shouts and yells from those on rides and winning competitions.ย
taking the last bite of the skewered ddeokbokki in his hand, taejun takes the long way around a crowd of freshman speeding towards the rollercoaster to toss his trash away in the garbage bin. heโs thoroughly enjoying the last bite when he suddenly hears a name being shouted loudly.
immediately, taejun whips around to scan the entire field of students, trying to pinpoint where the shout came from and where the called girl might be. his eyes dart from everywhere from the butter beer competition is setโฆ to the tea partyโฆ and to the quaffle dunk. when he doesnโt spot the girl, he rethinks having heard her name.
his senses are alert because where yeonhee goes, so does her furry of energy. if anything really, taejunโs on the look out to make sure sheโs okay and that the carnival is still in tact.ย
he chuckles at the thought of yeonhee causing a domino effect at the carnival, wondering how that would be handled. and then a second thought makes its way into his mind and bursts into a loud laughter. with yeonheeโs energetic nature and taejunโs clumsiness, he was sure they would be able to create enough chaos for the professors to be weary for the first half of the semester at least. be that taejunโs tripping knock something loose or yeonhee accidentally scaring the animals off, there was always something to look forward to.
figuring she was probably having fun with her other friends, taejun willed himself to calm down. if she didnโt see him thenย he might be able to save himself from another accident. or so he thoughtโฆ
as soon as taejun turned around, he tripped over his shoe, stumbling forwards. a few students called out to him, asking if he was okay and he replied with nods and a smile. it was nothing he wasnโt used to. and then he spotted herโฆ and knew she had spotted him too.
โah, yeonhee!โ taejun chuckled his greeting before waving his hand. โi thought i heard someone shout your name.โ
