Stark Industries was as impressive as ever, with itsâ towering presence throughout all of New York, an imposing marvel of creation and housing multitudes of scientific wonders. Not the first time she had seen it, in this age or the former. But she was here for the central focus of providing an outlook on every measure of security within and outside of the building. A mandated duty for the official Superpowered figure of Homeland Security. It seemed redundant from her view, considering how this buildingâs security measures were likely armed to the teeth by Tony himself, far more than most government buildings these days.
However, it was a very nice excuse to see Pepper Potts. So, she would indulge her expendable role in this locale, for now. If not for the pleasant company.
âTrust me, I know. Itâs pointless. But yâknow... canât be too careful I guess.â A semblance of truth seemed to prevail there between them, as she walked alongside the red haired woman. âBesides, this is strangely... nice? Iâll take any break from the chaos of my usual work, trust me. Plus, itâs always fun to see what else Tony has come up with in this place.â She lolled her eyes to the side for a moment, lips scrunched together in brief thought. Then, Carol pivoted on her heels to face Pepper, swinging around as she began walking backwards, arms linked behind her back. âHas the joke been made about Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory yet? And instead of Willy, itâs Tony, instead of chocolate, itâs crazy wacky gadgets and gizmos? ...I over-explained the joke, but you should laugh anyway.â
