“I am sorry my dear I only wished to get your attention without being loud or causing a disruption.” He had wanted to be polite and not loud around others. There was no need to make things louder right now. 

Tony gritted his teeth as the older boy’s fist made contact with his cheek. He knew that hit was coming, he knew it was going to hurt, but the defense the other boy had was too good for Tony not to sacrifice a little of himself. It was nothing, nothing in comparison to the pain that ripped inside of him. He was so tired, tired of the classes, tired of the board room meetings with old men he could out smart trying their best to force him out of his inheritance. More so, he was tired of looking at the twisted pile of metal that sat in the garage, deep red blood stains on the dash and in the seats were all that remained of his mom. The last moment he saw his father alive, that violent altercation was the last memory he’ll ever have of the man and all he could think of was how much he deserved this. He deserved the pain, he deserved the punishment, and just as the other boy reared back Tony saw his chance. 

Tony swung up, his entire weight behind the upper cut as his fist made contact with the other boys jaw. His arm pulsed with the force of the hit but his adrenaline was pumping too much for him to feel the pain. Even if he could, he didn’t care. The crowd of people that surround him and his foe kept them in a tight ring. Their chants drowning out Tony’s sorrow, but not his anger.
