Art Stream: Various Doodles as of Late

From all the art I’ve been doing for my update vids and just of other stuff in general, I’ve done some other doodles in general. More info under the cut!

A shorter art dump from yesterday’s stream, because I was zonked out near the end of it, and half the shit I drew I wasn’t happy with. What I DID keep though, well worth it. Not going to put this under a cut today, because it’s short.

The top one’s a warm-up doodle for the stream as a whole, with Teen!Mundi doodling the stupid Novgorod with his stupid hair and his stupid face and his stupid chin and his stupid nose and his stupid blue eyes that make his stupid heart go ba-dump. ...Mundi was really bad at this whole emotions thing.

The next one was simple. So, the theory I’ve come to use for the creation of 2Ps is from a failed nation-state. Vanya himself was Great Prince Novgorod, or Novgorod the Great (depending on what text you use), and things got really bad for him in the 1470′s. Somebody decided to rat out his attempts to ally himself with the Lithuanians to Muscovy, and the guy’s boss came down on him like a bag of hammers. It was a brutal end to a little over 800 years walking this good green earth, but his end meant that little Muscovy could become the giant Braginsky we all know today. The little twine loop around his ring finger? ...that’s a story for another day.

AND THEN WE WATCHED F.R.O.7, aka Freddie the Frog in the American release. It’s a British animated film from the 90′s, and holy fucking shit, that movie is balls-to-the-wall nuts at points. It’s got it all: weird visuals that come the fuck out of nowhere, random musical numbers that make no sense and interrupt the story, cultural egocentrism, landmark theft, ‘90′s Chick Syndrome’, no less than 3 climactic battles in the last 20 minutes, interspecies romance, magical wizard kings, voice actors shitting all over their careers, janky animation, bad running gags that get old super fast, PG-tit shots, SCOTSMEN, the loch ness monster and her grandchildren in diapers...Oh, and snake-worshipping ‘Operation Sealion’-ing roller-skating Nazis partying it up with Klu Klux Klansmen, some boyars, and a dark skinned ‘jungle native’ (complete with bone sticking out of his nose) while a magical cobra woman sing-talks about being evil and electrocuting them. It’s an experience.

Okay. Standing for Magical Sausage Fest AU, it’s a human magical boy/girl setting, with 4 boys and a single lone girl in the bunch, hence the name.

It involves Reve, Vanya, World (sorta), chaoticshchavel, lambofthelions, disgruntled-dogmusher, nonsensicaljello, tangentially-displaced, and manisnowba. Basically a bunch of middle and high-schoolers from various walks of life, they are given magical being powers from the King of Dreams, who’s stuck in a teddy bear because he can’t keep his physical form anymore, and they have to fight Nightmares walking about in the waking world. They’re running amok and ruining people’s lives, trying to find fragments of the King of Dream’s ‘Heart Stone’, his magical core and the source of his power. The King of Nightmares rreeeaaaaallly wants him dead, after all, and would do just about anything to get rid of him.

They’re both descendants of King Morpheus, God of Dreams, but there’s a whole lot of interpersonal political drama between these two.
