It centers around the prince Nicholas, whose world was destroyed long ago but his heart was stuck in a void (the awakening station) and spent a good decade or so guiding new hearts through to get their start on their journey since he himself couldn’t do anything. He couldn’t leave, no one was going to save him, what’s the point?

Lo and behold, his court magician and knight found him, scryed of all things and was pulled out of the void to real life. He learns while his world was destoryed, his main court still lived, if not just scattered throughout the worlds. So he sets out on  a quest to reunite them all.

Course there also rings a tale of a world swarming in darkness but not consumed, once a place where his finacee lived. But whether his finacee is alive or dead is not sure, but there is a large heartless guarding a heart that no one is allowed to touch.

SO THATS THE BASIC STORY yea yea i know its kinda a ripoff of sora/donlad/goofy sort of thing but they dont really have a keyblade. They just want to find their people around the worlds.

The middle row is the ‘Maleficent’ of the story, Morte. Nicholas’s fiancee, Vanya (yea whose really that surprised, we love that duo shush), was the prince of their world and his little brother Rene was frantic about him being married, pretty sure he would never  see his brother again. Through some shitty manipulation, she convinced Rene to open the door to that world since he was pure enough for it (at the time). Then ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE and man Morte had her pickings of hearts to eat, and shes a happy camper. Rene in the meanwhile, with having been the one to open the door and get heartless power, over time he became a heartless himself, but with having his brothers heart around keeps his shred of humanity intact, even if its just barely.

The last row is just random things. I heard this song and just thought about of when Vanyas heart tries calling out to nicholas. Granted it’d be more n dreams than irl but I liked the image. I originally wanted it to be the second draft after but I couldnt get it to look the way I wanted. So its like... heck.

The last picture is most recent, made for the ‘Atlantica’ world visit. One of the courtiers had ended up as a human topside, and his partner was a mermaid. They didn’t know how to come back together, the human one having figured out his partner was a mermaid but not the other way around. So he went to Ursula to get himself to be a mermaid. She agreed, if she was to have his face. He was like ‘my face? uuuuh like my complexion? Sure sure whatever”. BAD IDEA. Sure he got fins, gills and so on but his face was literally replaced with a mass of glowworms. He found whatever mask was lying around a ship wreckage to hide his face, which turned out to be an oni mask, but now he cant say anything other than humms, and he can see but not a whole lot. He cant find his beloved anywhere and stays in a dark cave to cover his hideous shame.

His partner however, got a glimpse of supposedly the face of their love on land and realized “THEYRE ALIVE BUT THEYRE A HUMAN OH DEAR” so guess who also went to ursula to trade away their voice for legs. Now theyre back to square on of ones a human, ones a merman but they are more than lost than before and horrible cursed.

Thats where the troop comes in of ya gotta help these two out and get reunited so you can take them back to court. With being in the dark cave and glowworms for a face, the masks glows and i thought it was a cool concept so I drew it out. IT LOOKS NEAT.
