Hello, Aleteia! Thanks for including my trailer in your update posts for the Phantom, it means a lot^^ And with the story coming to an end (once again: can't wait for more drama!!!) The final shot of Hiccup standing alone looking at the dragons. Because yes, he is currently completely alone in his journey, safe for Toothless and the dragons he believes to still be fighting for. heartbreaking
I really really love it! The first one was more mysterious, this one more war-like, battle-ready. And it fits the current stage of the story really well!
Now the real question is, how much longer can I make my Phantom update posts.

Six Sentence Sunday
This is a small excerpt from the next chapter of The West Princess "Before and After- Part 2".
"Any ideas how to name her?"
“No,” she shrugged her shoulders and fished out another apple from a hidden pocket in her dress. "Hasn't she got one already?"
She did have point because that white beauty was too old for giving a name, and Hiccup thought the same but his father assured him that there was no name.
"She hasn't, as far as we know."
The princess frowned and turned her attention to the horse, gliding her neck as she was chewing the apple.
"Do you?" she suddenly asked.

The second chapter is finally here! The longest I have ever written! It took more time than I'd anticipated and turned out a little bit different than I'd planned it to be but I’m content with the result.

Another Sunday, another 6 pfff actually 8 sentences from the West Princess’ next chapter. I’ve finished the draft of the very first scene and two new sketches of Astrid’s outfits. I will post one during the next week! On that note, please, enjoy the excerpt from chapter 3. Before and After!
"O, my precious Hiccup, today is the day when my life was split up into before and after."
Stoick the Vast had said those words to his only son the day his wife had passed away. A five years old boy hadn't understood what they had meant at that time as he had been woken up very early by his father who had been sobbing uncontrollably holding the only part of his family that had left in his big arms. The young prince had had no idea of what had happened because all that had mattered was the fact that his mother had gone and she would never come back to them again.
Many years after, Hiccup was still missing her greatly but it was mostly the image from a portrait in his father's study and other people's memories he had been told since then. King Stoick, however, had never been the same since that night when the better part of him had gone with his wife. Lords and friends had been very supportative to both of them, saying that only time could heal; and it did but only to Hiccup. Meanwhile, for Stoick there couldn’t be anyone else after Valka.

You're welcome�� I'm glad you love it�� I mean there's got to be an action trailer since we know how complicated, flawed and badass the Phantom is, right?:) And because of that, I love him more and more with every new chapter:) Phantom!Hiccup is definitely my favourite dark!character after Darth Vader, of course�� (OMG, can you imagine these two meet and have a talk? ����) Tons of inspiration as always��

Fun fact, my mental note on Hiccup’s behaviour towards the end of chapter 40 has always been “the dude has Skywalker issues”. Essentially saying “If you’re not with me, you’re my enemy” and “Let the past die, kill it if you have to”, paired with daddy issues, sounds a lot like Anakin Skywalker and his grandson to me :’D
The three of them would have a great time just brooding over things together.
Darth Vader: The love of my life turned against me because of what I had to do Phantomcup: Same Kylo Ren: I don’t even know if Rey was into me to begin with... Kylo Ren: I hate my dad Phantomcup: Same Darth Vader: I don’t even have a dad
Phantomcup: I look amazing in black and no one can convince me otherwise Kylo Ren: Same Darth Vader: Same
Meanwhile, Phantomcup is desperately trying to figure out how lightsabers work. Inferno is incredible but these things are just downright amazing and he has to have one.
