I might write a fic for it LOL

Our local librarian and self published author has graced us with her presence. Let’s see what she has for us headcanon wise. 

- Wickerbottom used to be the head librarian at a lovely place in New York but sadly that place burnt to the ground. (And was what inevitably lead to her winding up in The Constant.)

- With the lack of books in The Constant, Wickerbottom is determined to fill it with proper literature. From writing and publishing her own books to rewriting stories she had in her library. 

- Her affinity for magic is something quite astounding to everyone. How she learned, no one is quite sure. Everyone has their secrets. 

- Wickerbottom is mainly in charge of looking after the little ones. Not that she minds. She adores children and always wanted some of her own but never did get the chance. So, a blessing out of all the madness.

- She also makes it her prerogative to give the children a proper education. Knowledge is power after all. 

- Wickerbottom is always on Wilson’s case on taking better care of himself. The man’s impulsive and self sacrificing behavior worries her constantly so she makes sure to keep an eye on him at all costs. (Or at the very least makes sure that whoever is with him on outings brings a report to her on how he’s doing.) 

- Wickerbottom is kind of a mom/grandma to everyone, earning her the joking title of “Camp Mom” and “Camp Grandma”. (She actually likes both those names.)

- Also, she’s more or less the camp matriarch. She does a lot of the talking when speaking with others diplomat wise. 

- Wickerbottom has been the most proactive of making sure Willow’s pyromania is kept in check. Mainly in that she’s almost... hosted a few book burnings. Much to Wickerbottom AND Wilson’s horror. (It was a pile of her books and Wilson’s journals. It was NOT going to end well.)

- Magic wise, she’s actually up to Maxwell’s level. She’s just in a different field since he uses shadow magic and hers is more varied in elements. 

- Later on when Maxwell gets kicked from the throne, Wickerbottom and him actually work together on compiling information about The Constant in regards to magic, creatures and some history into books. It’s... an odd form of bonding for them. (And a way for him to be kind of open.)
