I received so many books for Christmas this year! My friend gave me a book called The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday which I am excited to implement into my daily life. In general, I’ve been waiting for a wintery day at home so I can finally read Walden by Henry David Thoreau (last year did not provide enough snow for a good snow day!). I still haven’t read Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow even though its been on my bedside table since autumn. I’m also excited to read the second installment of the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith. As for newly published books this year, I’m excited for Roxane Gay’s Difficult Women.
And as always, I am more than happy to take recommendations!
