the orchid doesnât quite fit snugly behind her  ear nor does it  really seem like the type of flower for that function, but grace gazes at him fondly anyway for the gesture.  she likes to think that she thought about each of the children equally in the time they were away; luther, who she felt a pang of pity for whenever his packages came and went unopened; diego, who called or snuck in regularly at night to speak to her just because; allison,  whose  successes  made  her smile  whenever  she  came  up  on  the  papers  or  the  radio; number five, whom she hoped would find his way back, if he still could; and vanya, who she heard the least from since her departure, but was proud of for being brave enough to write that book.
klaus, though, must have crossed her mind the most.  grace knew he was in that facility to get help, hence the lack of contact, but sheâd often worried about whether his vices would take him before she could see him again.  she canât begin to explain how glad she is that that wasnât the case.  â   i might need an additional clip for this, but i want you to know that itâs much appreciated,   â  she says with a smile, taking his hand in hers.  â   welcome home, klaus,   â
put  a  flower  behind  graceâs  ear.   accepting !
