Always genuinely happy to see me. We were consistently about 1/8th of one another's lives and there was a moment I thought it was more and told him and we stopped connecting. Then that 1/8th sharing was missed. Kids 1/2 time, work of two into one person, and emotional exhaustion. I really only had 1/8th that had room. I still went on other dates expecting something and it wasn't Mr Steady that was hindering it was me. And also the steady stream of people who were constantly reminding me that I was and am more of an outlier in society.
