I like to think that James Patterson wrote the first three books, and that the rest of the books were written by some ghostwriter he hired WHO HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. So Books 4-8 don’t count for me.

All I think about is having wings.
#101 Maximum Ride changed my life, but then they had to go change the book itself. Before I read Maximum Ride, I had never been interested in adventure books or anything like that. But a friend suggested it to me, and I decided to read it. I have to say, I instantly fell in love with the characters and storyline. But the truth is, once Fang and Max became an item, the whole story got ruined for me. I still read the books, because I didn’t want to just stop three or four books into the series, but I just couldn’t enjoy it as much. They took a book that I never though I would love, and turned it into the kind of book that I used to love, but no longer loved. That just made me really sad. I missed the old stories, where there were adventures and fighting and action. The story became so focused on Max and Fang and Dylan’s love triangle, and not to mention the whole thing with Angel, that James Patterson stopped paying attention to my favourite characters— who just so happened to be Iggy, Nudge, and Gazzy. I mean, they ended the series with people really wondering whether those three, as well as the other Gen 77 kids were dead or not. So now, I can’t believe the ending, my friend who is also reading the story is dreading the ending, and I just can’t believe that this is what came out of a once so beautiful and exciting story.
#100 Maximum Ride is my Harry Potter. I have it downloaded on my iPad, iPod, iPhone and laptop. i re-read it at least three times a year. It’s made me love books. It’s saved me. Sometimes, when I’m feeling down, I know there are people out there with worse situations.

#099 Max had a HUGE ego, that I love but in the last four books it suddenly vanish. I missed it.

After reading Maximum Ride’s wiki page I can’t help but despise how much she weighs. She’s 5’8” and only weighs 98 pounds. I know she’s part bird and is on the run, but that is severely unhealthy and anorexic.
#097 I'm still not even sure what happens at the end of Nevermore. So confused.
