There is a simulation / management game called Mr. Prepper. It was released in 2021, and it's clear from various dialog lines that it was developed, or at least localized, during the first Trump Administration. The devs are Polish, meaning it's a lot like Earthbound in that it is a reflection of American culture through the lens of a different culture entirely.
It's notable because while survivalists are not purely an American phenomenon, survivalism as a praxis and a philosophy is HEAVILY informed by American authors of the subject, and indirectly by American right wing politics; it's telling that a game studio in a nation that fought long and hard to get out from under the thumb of an authoritarian state would resonate with that kind of message.
It's also telling that the depiction of the town of "Muricaville" in the game so strongly resembles living in a hardcore red state in the USA, even five years later.
