He petted one Grunt child's head with his finger. For a Mag agent, he was very careful not to harm them. They all loved hanging out with him, even calling him 'Mom' or 'Dad'. The agent swore every time they did, he would feel tears coming in his eyes. He couldn't even use his glasses to cover the watering eyes, as one of the little gruntlings had it and was trying to wear it. After playing, they all grew tired and laid on the Mag's back, or snuggled into his sides or in his arms. As viscous as the larger grunt was, when it came to his children, he was practically a guardian. He closed his eyes, holding his children close. Nothing bad was ever going to happen to his babies.
