Y’all, the last three weeks have been exhausting and horrible. Losing one of my friends so suddenly has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. However, the good that’s come from it has definitely eased that pain a bit. I survived a flight to Reno! I’ve gotten time with my brothers and their families during a time of such uncertainty. I’ve gotten to see friends I haven’t seen in over four years. I’ve been in the city that molded me and seen it in a very different light. I’m very ready to go home but am not looking forward to having to isolate for two weeks after. There is good in that though too. I’m gonna get two uninterrupted weeks with my love. We haven’t had that since we started dating. I’m really looking forward to pool days and cuddles!

The boyfriend is playing remote D&D tonight. He keeps asking me if I want to watch tv or a movie or play the Switch or do something other than entertain myself while he plays. I’m enjoying wasting time on the internets and listening to him and his friends play. It makes me grateful to be with someone who cares so much about me. This is a new feeling.

Boyfriend met my family today. Great times were had by all. He fits in as perfectly as he can. Luna even let him pet her, which is the RAREST of occasions. I hope he sticks around.
