i remember we were driving in your car

the car is beautiful. exquisite. absolutely wonderful. he really couldn’t have grabbed a better key. to be fair; he wasn’t specifically looking for car keys when he’d accidentally bumped into the other male. he’s never looking for anything in particular, just the thrill of his fingers searching their target, the absolute satisfaction of getting away with it time and time again, luck playing in his favour as always. but then he is smart enough to not go for anything too difficult, and he’s got that innocently youthful face, the smile that usually takes the attention away from whatever his hands are doing, and he never forgets to bow several times in a row muttering his apologies for bumping into the other person and redirecting the attention from what has just happened to how it continues.
but back to the car. the exquisite, beautiful car that does nothing but pur softly underneath him; the electric engine silent like a breeze and yet it can go faster than many another car. he doesn’t drive so fast, though, he’s still in the middle of the city and he’s not going to risk such an expensive and absolutely beautiful piece of machinery. it’s enough to hold the steering wheel in his hands, to feel the strength he commands with his feet on the pedals. it’s enough to pull back up into the parking spot he drove away from earlier and to expertly put the car in park. without a hitch, he pulls the key from the ignition and hops out of the car, closing the door behind him as he heads around it.
it’s not hard to recognise the owner of the car since he bumped into him just a little while ago and his smile is wide, his eyes bright with his enthusiasm and delight as he walks up to the man who looks about ready to beat him to a pulp - not necessarily an unprecedented situation. “what an amazing car, hyung,” he chimes with great awe and happiness all in one. “i happened upon the keys and decided to take it for a test drive. the engine in this baby! unbelievable!” he beams the brightest smile as he already reaches out the key to its rightful owner, looking every bit like there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way he basically just stole a car and drove around in it.
