long lost ; hyeri and ace

It was an odd dream.
Hyeri was in the woods. She had a feeling that she was supposed to be searching for something, someone - that sensation that she had to find whatever it was. She was only armed with her golden dagger and with night falling, she didnât think it was enough. There was a tunnel of trees and leaves with a light at the end, and she doubted that it was the way out - it was too good to be true.Â
There was someone blocking the tunnel, but she didnât stop.
It wasnât the first time she met her father in a dream. As it was, he never said anything to her over the years, and Hyeri never thought that it was actually him until she came into the sanctuary after learning about her heritage. But there he was - tall, bulky, muscular, clad with weapons, his hair wild. She paused in front of him because she knew she was only dreaming and that he would never harm her, no matter how disrespectful she was. Perhaps she was a little naive on that. She had to test that theory.
âFather.â It felt even more strange to address him. She thought she saw a ghost of a smile on Aresâs scarred but regal face. After centuries of battle and warfare, youâd think he wouldnât have the energy to exchange pleasantries with his children.
âSomeone will be joining you in your journey soon.âÂ
Hyeri came up like she had been underwater for longer than she intended to. She took deep breaths and cursed her father to the pits of Tartarus for always leaving cryptic shit up her alley. No fucking way, dad. Does that mean Iâm going to die soon? Kicking the sheets away, she tied her hair up and got up to start her morning routine. After feeling refreshed, she donned her running shoes and stepped out into the hallway.Â
Someone was moving in right beside her flat. Another Greek demigod had arrived, and it hit her - the aura of strength and power that usually accompanied her kind, but with something else, fire, bloodlust - and she didnât realize that she was staring him down already, deep in thought as she analyzed who the boy could be. It was a big possibility that this was a relative of hers, knowing their family line. But something told her he wasnât just a cousin.Â
âAre you...?âÂ
