My Personal Role Play Rules
Hi, I’m Desiree, and I run multiple character role play blogs. The rules are virtually identical, so I’m making one post I will either reblog to each blog or copy and paste.
Unfortunately due to multiple recent negative experiences I am forced to make sure you read these rules before I say, give you my skype or other contact information off Tumblr. Thus there will be a particular hidden code among my rules.
This Blog Is Semi-Selective. There are so many writers out there, and the fact is, there are even countless talented writers. However, sometimes our styles just don’t mesh. This doesn’t mean you’re in anyway less then quality-just that we don’t have a future writing together.
You are not entitled to having me as a writing partner. I add this because in the past I have faced passive aggressive behavior because I wasn’t answering the other writer’s posts right away because I was excited about a different thread. In the more recent past I’ve had a writer or two try to draw me out of my comfort zone, and then melt down when I couldn’t or wouldn’t write what they wanted.
Related Rule: Skype is available on request, but not for general plotting. That can be done in the tumblr chat feature thank you very much, as that is where I will be role playing my muse.
Related Rule: Haha. Smut or sexually explicit role play will not be occurring with this mun or muse except for extremely selective special occasions.*
This does not mean I do not welcome mature themes. I probably do. I love to put my muses through hell-but I prefer to do it off screen in a lot of cases. Discuss with me, but more then anything I enjoy building them up after.
Following: I will follow a lot at first, and it means I am interested in writing with you. However if we don’t seem to click, mesh, or write together for whatever reason, I reserve the right to unfollow you to keep the dashboard clean.
I live with depression and anxiety, so I might vanish on occasion without warning, or drop threads. If you think I lost yours or might have dropped your thread without telling you, message me. I might have-and I probably meant to message you, but it was a dark day and I just couldn’t bring myself too.
Never be afraid to break the ice with a meme. Or even just an in character ask. I live for these, even if I don’t always answer. Frequently its because I don’t know how to

That said on no occasion will the mun be writing: smut for the sake of it
And if you even ask about writing dubious consent or rape scenes (I refuse to call them forced sex or non consensual, they are rape scenes) I will block you so fast it will make your ancestors dizzy.
*On the rare occasion I write out sexual scenes or smut, its because its with a close friend I know is of age, whose muse has an established history with mine and we have discussed it. IE, The Tale of Margaery Tyrell sticking a cucumber up Robb Stark’s butt.
If you couldn’t tell, the italicized phrase was the key phrase.
