Yk what, since we’re all here for the Stan vs Starscream polls bot saga, here is my current opinion.
Everyone needs to calm down.
It sucks that bots have been apart of last year’s polls but I don’t think it is apart of this year’s poll.
1) There has yet to be any definitive proof of bots.
Last year, bots seemed to be caught by multiple people, with various screenshots, and I feel like the common consensus was “yeah there had to be bots!”
This poll, I have only seen a graph done by one person! Zero screenshots, and pretty much everyone is like “IDK…? Ig if there were bots it would have to be by both sides? Idk…” Which kinda tells me that the likelihood of this being actual bots is slim to none.
Now im not an expert on bots or how bots work, but I am pretty sure it tends to be pretty obvious in most regards. Bots aren’t human and can be tricky AND PRETTY DAMN OBVIOUS when it comes to a poll that is only 13k votes in total. If this poll was like over 50k votes THEN i would be like “okay it might be more subtle then!” But its not.
2) I think we are all jumping the gun based on a few rumors and one person’s post who even said at the end that they don’t have enough evidence or ability to gather evidence in order to really prove it. Which tells me that we don’t have solid proof and thus we should all step back.
Thats not me discrediting they have brought forth, thats just me looking at it from a logical kinda view and basically being like “would this actually hold up in court.”
3) Lastly, can we all not ruin a victory won by 6 (let me repeat that) SIX vote difference??? In what world are bots winning by 6 votes 😭😭
Idk just wild to me. Either way, if botting is determined I hope both sides get disqualified bc atp there is no way that it was a one side thing if there is any.
