A Morgue Thing | Hongbin & Hades
@mphongbinx
There are some days at the hospital that are more pleasant than others. So far today is one of those where he wishes he could pull his own hair out from the inside of his skull. Because even that would be more interesting than the piles upon piles of paperwork he has yet to complete.
It takes him another full two minutes before he gives up, getting up from his chair and swiftly exiting his office. If he’s going to die in a hospital, he can just as well do it in a place he feels more comfortable. Like among the dying. Or even better, the dead. The morgue is in dire need of a check-up, after all. Hades hasn’t even been there since he came to Mount Phoenix.
Making his way over to said department of the hospital, Hades calmly walks through the hallways and takes in the way everything operates. Properly, he must admit. He has very capable people under his rule - sometimes more than can be said of the Underworld itself. Smirking at this thought, Hades calmly enters into the hallway he knows will lead him to the morgue.
When he reaches the place, however, he can already see an unfamiliar figure inside. Granted permission, he is told by the morgue guardian, because of his involvement with the local police department. Frowning lightly at the thought, Hades easily pushes open the doors and enters the morgue, walking up to the young man standing over what appears to be a pile of someone’s clothes. Not a dead body then, at least. Although it would have been interesting to walk in on that, he has to admit.
“Good afternoon, young man,” he speaks calmly, siding up to the demigod and glancing at the clothes only shortly before focusing his attention on the kid fully. “Can I help you with something, perhaps?”
