Quite the opposite, actually. She chose to be her father's wingwomen XD
The instant Amber started to notice Jeo and Gene's change in chemistry, she was all for it and even encouraged her dad to pursue it if he really liked her. Jericho suffers from widower's guilt, and Amber tries to get him out of the mindset that he shouldn't be with anyone else, that it's a betrayal and undervalues the relationship he had with Gwen when that is not the case at all.
