Some thoughts on moving. Moving is exciting. New beginnings, new adventures, much to look forward to. For someone living with mental health issues, it’s also unsettling. For the first time in more than 27 years I am living alone in a semi-familiar place. Despite being mostly in isolation since March because of the pandemic, the shift from living with others to being in solitude is a bit head spinning. I’m proud that I’m managing, continuing to unpack and find my way through the challenges knowing that this decision will ultimately prove rewarding and among the best I’ve made. Right now I know it’s important that I discover what makes me awesome.
