Happy Odaiba Memorial Day 🦋
Just some little guys-
I've seen many people mention how Koushiro seems to have neurodivergent traits, ESPECIALLY when it comes to his hyperfocusing and his confusion regarding social cues, but I haven't seen many things about Tentomon also having neurodivergent traits.
Like the very first thing he (as Mochimon) says in Adventure and in the ENTIRE SERIES was basically him taking the word "Alone" Koushiro says literally.
There was at least one time where he says he understood something, but he really didn't (with the difference being he's honest when he doesn't know)
And oh the amount of times he sounded genuinely excited the moment he hears or sees something he knows about! ("What's that? Electricity? How's this?" and the whole "Legendary metal mythril" come to mind (for the latter, it also gives off the feeling one may get when they only just got into learning about something so they only know so much of the details))
I'd also say that while he's definitely witty, sometimes it takes a while for him to understand something new, but once he understands part of it, he gets it! Like seriously, look at episode 5 and when the program starts making him heat up and making Koushiro's digivice go off. He says "I have no clue!" as it happens, but later on, when situations get dire, he tells Koushiro to pull it up again despite what happened last time. He may not fully understand all of it, but in that moment he had a feeling he knew why that happened. He didn't understand it in the time it happened, but he got a feeling he did later on!
Idk if any of these are stretches since the most notable ones are from the first arc, so if you guys have any other examples from this arc, the other Digimon Adventure arcs, or from the other Digimon Adventure series he's in, please say because similarly to how Koushiro has neurodivergent traits, there's no way that lil ladybug guy isn't on the spectrum either!
