Mothwing could be the 4th cat in the prophecy instead of Firestar. She could be the reincarnation of Moth Flight!!!!!

And that's when I say: she may not be in canon but you know how she CAN be?
By being the other parent of the three!
MOTHWING CAN BE THE 4TH CAT IN THE PROPHECY BY MAKING THE PARENTS MOTHPOOL! IT WOULD BE AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO FURTHER SEE MORE OF HER CHARACTER AND BE A MUCH BETTER OPTION THAN FIRESTAR, IN THIS ESSAY I-
Mothwing teaching her kits how to swim, and Hollypaw picking it up really quickly and Jaypaw isn't too bad at it and Lionpaw being a bit clumsy with it at first but getting through it and Mothwing is so fucking proud of them and is like "Look! Look! Leaf, they're swimming like RiverClan cats!!!" And Leafpool just finds herself so in love in that moment, and falls for Mothwing all over again.
The main plot point that goes different in this AU is that Mothwing is the sire of the three and that ThunderClan is all VERY aware that the three are Leafpool's kits.
It's very hard to hide that you're pregnant when there are children visibly floating inside the water in your body.
So Firestar speaks to Leaf and Squirrel about it, and they decide to tell the clan. Leaf asks Moth if she's okay with it being known that she's the other parent, and Moth already being so done with everything because of Hawk, says that yes that would be okay.
When the 3 are born, Leaf and Squirrel both take care of them, and Mothwing visits when she can.
Overall Squirrel, Leaf, and Moth are all rather involved in the three's lives so the Power of Three and Omen of the Stars arcs go quite a bit different from canon.
