Even after all this time, all their travels, she felt herself strung out with adoration at the way he snored and purred when his eyes first opened. She nodded to their writhing group of kittens, and Breezepelt twitched his whiskers, bounding over to them and catching the three of them in his paws, leaving Mothwing to observe how great of a father he had become.Â
HEADCANON: AFTER THE LAST HOPE BREEZEPELT WAS MORTALLY INJURED AND MOTHWING FELT GUILT FOR WHAT HER FATHER HAD DONE SO SHE LEFT RIVERCLAN IN THE CAPABLE PAWS OF WILLOWSHINE (WITH MISTYSTAR'S PERMISSION) AND TOOK BREEZEPELT INTO THE MOUNTAINS AND STARTED A FAMILY THE END.Â

I mean. How could you not AT LEAST respect Mothbreeze? Yes, I am aware it is a crack ship, but it is so deep and just... Like, I will include how Spirits explained it. It is a medicine cat who has gone against tradition and does not believe in the core of the clans' belief systems, who is in love with a younger (and Windclan!) tom who not only believes in the spirits of the cats that have passed away, but fights with the evil every night. And he is so passionate about being the best he can be, and so is she but she doesn't have the link to what everyone else has: faith. Breezepelt is her opposite. Like.
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT YOU JUST HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT FOR A WHILE AND THEN YOU GET FEELS OKAY OFF TO WRITE PART TWO KBYE
