How do you do this magnificent colouring, man'';;, it feels nice warm and cozy, like wrapping in a huge heavy blanket with a cuppa; (I'm absolutely in love)
wish I could get the hang of such skill hah''
I honestly just really love warm colours so i channel that into my art, but to keep those warm colours i do have a process:
usually i pick a warm base colour that suits the character (in owen's case orange) then i use the base colour as a point of reference for the real colours i will use.
so your colours can end up looking a lot less warm if you dont have that point of reference. But it really depends on the effect you want for your drawing.
Whats so fun about this kind of colouring is that you can make any colour palette variant that you could ever want:
you can take it to the extreme or make it subtler..
i recommend just playing around with a smaller colour palette and seeing what variety you can make out of it. do remember that colouring and especially art is all about having fun and enjoying what your making!
