Finally got my #meridianshawl finished!! This pattern is a great one to knit while in the car on a road trip or watching TV as it's an easy to memorize repeat. Mine I think is a bit smaller than normal but I know I knit odd as I am self taught, that just helps add character to my pieces I think!! 💚 I used about 2.75 skeins of @earthandempress fingering weight yarn in the Occamy colorway and am in love with it!! It's a super soft yarn that has plenty of squish to it I think! I felt like I needed to match this colorway with a pattern that would bring to mind the creature it's named for in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Meridian by @allknitup definitely accomplished that to me!! Y'all I finally did it, I finally finished my first sweater!! It took somewhere around a year, I think I started it sometime around November last year but then lost interest and did around 8 other projects! I was watching "While You Were Sleeping" and I loved the super oversized sweater Sandra Bullock wore at one point. I looked around but couldn't find a sweater I could buy so I figured I'd make myself one! I used the "Classic Cachet Pullover" from Lion Brand and maybe 8.5 skeins of Buttercream Luxe Craft in black and white.
