"I know, I know. I jumped ship on this blog a lot sooner than you thought I would. But alas! I am back with a vengeance.
I will be posting snippets and journal-type entries about my life in NYC, where I have relocated myself in the last month. I have a lot of really cool, exciting projects in the works right now and I’m buzzing with creative energy, so prepare yourself for a whole lot of Melanie. I’ve been meeting a ton of new people everyday and I’m trying to balance my crazy social life with my family’s overwhelming desire to have me around. Part of me wishes I had a more “normal” family where everyone hates each other, but unfortunately(?) thats not the case. They love me and are WAY too excited to have me back on their turf.
I’ll post an update vlog about the last month very soon, but the basic jist has been as follows:
-Broke up with my boyfriend (but don’t worry, we’re both very happy with our decision!) -Packed up my life into a uHaul truck in a week -Spent a four day, cross-country adventure with my father that was probably the most priceless experience of my life -Started my new life in NYC almost immediately with a swirl of faces old and new
I’m still transitioning, technically. All my boxes are still packed up and waiting for me to properly settle in somewhere. I’m currently staying in my grandmother’s tiny back attic room with my middle brother Matt, but this is more of a waypoint to my next destination. In a few days I’ll be moving into my amazing friend Brittany’s apartment, so you’ll be seeing a lot of her. She’s my fashionable, supercool, globetrotting friend. I’m going to start doing friend bio posts so you guys can get to know a little more about the people I surround myself with on a daily basis.

Guys im not hating on Melanie whatsoever she's been my favorite vlogger since she started her channel but yesterday i found out that she blocked me and i cant think of any other reason than that one time when i tweeted her so many tweets saying "Melanie i love you so much can i get a tweet back?" And a tweet back from her would've made me so happy and my goal that day was to get noticed by her, she noticed me but she blocked me. Now i dont know if she accidentally blocked me (which cant happen 'cause you'll have to go on my profile and blah blah) but it made me sad and i felt bad i dont know i love her but this made me have mixed emotions about her, still i dont hate her.
