Basically I will be able to do different projects dealing with wildlife such as researching Great White Sharks, bottle nose Dolphins, southern right whales, some species of benthic sharks and other marine life. Not only that but I will have the opportunity to study land animals in the South African region as well as photographing/filming them. I decided to take advantage of this opportunity because I plan on becoming a veterinarian as well as a wildlife biologist/photographer and I figured this would be a great step towards my career goal AND I get to travel one of my dream destinations (I also need internship credits to graduate lol) 😭😭😭 I have more details on the website. My name is Alex Wright and I'm here to take over for White Shark Africa for the next week. I was a former intern, for two months and I lived my dream. It has changed my life in the most magnificent way I never would have thought. I love Mossel Bay, all of it. Small town but not too small, beautiful landscapes, great area to be in. To be an intern was a dream come true, and the reason behind my love of sharks is I can relate to them. The fear people have about them made me fall in love with them, such misunderstood creatures I feel I could relate to some degree. JAWS made me fall in love with them, even though it has completely ruined their reputation. This is a photo I took while on the boat, my job as an intern was to assist with ID sharks but taking dorsal shots of them. Difficult task but I did get some decent shots such as this one.
