🌿 Moss Sloth: Lesson in Slowness
𓂀 ◌✨
A Moss Sloth was curled around a branch today,
so still that the moss on its back
seemed to be doing most of the living for it.
When it finally stirred,
the movement was tiny—
a slow stretch,
a long blink,
a quiet sigh.
No urgency.
No rush.
Just a creature moving
exactly when it felt like moving.
I watched for a while.
It didn’t hurry to notice me.
It didn’t pretend to have plans.
It simply existed at its own pace,
and in doing so,
reminded me I could too.
Not everything needs to happen quickly.
Some days, taking your time
is the only thing that makes sense.
The sloth blinked once more,
as if to seal the lesson,
then returned to the sacred art
of being unbothered.
