For my birthday, he drew an image of Solana. I wanted to return the favor, so I drew his character, Pod.
Design notes
Pod is a character with feral innocence. When imagining a scenario best fit Pod as a character, I couldn't stop imagining her as a critter huddled in a cardboard box, waiting to be adopted. Hence, I drew her as one.

This image incorporates principles I learned from my studies in Counterfeit-V3.0. Namely:
I used windswept hair as a means of introducing dynamism to the piece.
I used colored tints as a means of countershading and balancing out the color distribution of the piece.

you have to look out for yourself above all other things. Only yesterday I had to have Words with one of my friends about tagging certain posts they reblogged that were making me feel shitty, so you can do the same. Please don’t just let it all overwhelm you. You are worth something.
;3; thank you for the kind words. Yeah I don’t like asking people to tag stuff unless its like actually a mental health thing (I don’t have actual trauma triggers... unfortunately. My life has never been easy). Thing is if I keep being this bummed out by interweb stuff I may have to ask people to do that or every maybe unfollow people. I rather not do the latter because my usual rule is I don’t unfollow people unless the discourse they’re getting themselves into is hateful in some way but my health needs to take importance over people’s right to discussion important social and political issues.
People’s right to say whatever shouldn’t come at the expense of others. That’s a thing I wish everyone online could learn because the right, left and even central leaning people forget that ALL.THE.TIME.
