I am very intrigued about this Morrowind. I have no idea what it is, but it is very interesting. Does this game have an easy mode by any chance?
i donāt think so! itās fromā¦i want to say 2001? but thereās a glitch u can use where fairly early in the game u can boost ur stats as high as u want so after that itās fairly easy. is that technically ācheatingā? yes. however!! my brother taught me how to do it so i consider it to be tradition actually

hi obv im new to morrowind and like. i was heading for aldāruhn for the fighters guild. and i hear something very frequently. what the fresh fuck are those ghastly groaning sounds
morrowind was my favourite game growing up and the cheats only made it more fun every time i started a new game id go to one of the towns and kill the guy who lived in the biggest house and then use that house as storage space for my Trinkets lmao or once i wanted to buy the glass armour but i had maxed out my charisma so basically no one would take money from me and so i had to bring the price down from over 100k gold to 0 and it can only be done by clicking and holding the lil arrow next to the price so i put like a book on my mouse and left it for an hour oh man what a time

I used to love Morrowind! I never got very far story wise since I tended to get distracted with alchemy and making money (also I donāt think I ever found the stupid cube in the ruins (mine?) despite looking for it several times) but it was fun. I donāt think I knew about that glitch, but somewhere I probably still have the cheat codes that would regenerate health so as long as you didnāt face a super strong enemy too soon, you didnāt have to worry about dying. Also, there were multiple times where Iād try to rob someone (or more embarrassingly accidentally hit the wrong button when practicing sneaking) and get caught and would end up in a fight and next thing Iād know a vital character was dead and then Iād spend the next hour or so as evil and killing everyone before loading the last save. Thinking about the game is definitely making me wish I still had a working Xbox.
itās the most fucked up little game!!! thank u for telling me!!! i love evil runs. i left off last night (bc the game crashed) crouched in front of my first thieves guild mark & im about to steal a diamond right in front of her face & not get caught bc im āsneakyā. wish me luck. also i have been playing on my windows comp so if u have a pc that could be fun!!

i first looked into the game files and howl 1-8 is all theyāre listed as and theyāre in a folder called āREGNā separate from any of the silt strider noises.............?????? i still have no explanation?? itās a separate folder from environment sound effects and along with the howls are rumbling and rock noises so iām going to chart it down to it being the red mountain, esp. since i only noticed it loudly as soon as i neared the base of it
they are quite creepy so itās odd that i couldnāt find much mention of them online??
also,, @belldinā honestly?? me too,, like i think thereās a limit to how many unsettling groaning noises you can have in one game and morrowind has exceeded it so far

im ready to throw some punches over the layout of vivec city
1.) why are there so many doors to the same place. when in doubt, put another FUCKING door there am i right vivec
2.) i was looking for the big door to the foreign quarter plaza and there was this HUGE doorframe and i was like āoh, okay, found itā. no. no. it was a normal fucking door. to the waistworks. another one.
there was no reason for there to be a misleading big doorframe there just was
3.) i was trying to find the guildmaster to the fighterās guild and i straight-up walked in complete circles around the first floor of the building for a solid 1-2 minutes. i passed by the redguard at the door and the bosmer scout apprentice an innumerable amount of times
4.) do you ever fucking wish vivec put as many bridges in their damn city as doors because i sure do
im playing morrowind and i just arrived in vivec for the first time and after doing a few quests... vivec, i love you, you glorious bug, but i want to throw you and/or whoever you put in charge of designing and laying out your damn city because i DONT!! KNOW!! WHERE I AM !!!
