Morrigan Magick. 💙💙
The Morrigan is one of the triple goddesses in Celtic mythology. The crow symbolises the three Morrigu (aka Morrigan) sisters and especially Badb Morrigu (one of the sisters).
Her name (the Morrigan) means “Great Queen”, “Phantom Queen” or “Queen of Demons”. She is the Celtic goddess of war, fate and death and the patroness of retribution, night, magick, prophecy, priestesses and witches.
The Morrigan is known as the crow goddess as she would hover over battlefields in the form of a hooded crow or raven waiting to claim the dead.
She would also warn her folk of danger, and so became synonymous with death, fate, victory, fury and bloodshed.
